...was watching a History Channel special on Germany (WW2) yesterday. 'Cause of the PHarbor anniversary they were showing WW2 programs all day.
The German one was very interesting. It described and showed historical footage of Berlin and all of Germany, after the war. Berlin (analogous to Baghdad) was divided into American, British, French and Russian sectors. The Brits and Yanks were known as being firm, but fair. The French were know for raping German women (typical for men that aren't men), and the Ruskies were, of course, brutal as always.
The most enlightening aspect of the history was this; it took 10 full years before all the killing, sabotage, terrorism, and leftover Nazis' to settle down! 10 years!
... and the Libs are complaning about Iraq? Amazing stupidity, simply amazing ...
