$200 billion for Katrina?

$200 billion for Katrina recovery? $200,000,000,000.00? I don't think so...Just as the offhanded Ray Nagin remark of 10,000 dead in New Orleans was pure baseless speculation, I think the $200 billion number will never be reached. I wonder why no one seems to be questioning the figure. The only dialogue I hear or read about is how to pay for it. Someone in Washington better put the kibosh on the runaway unaccounted spending. $60 billion has already been earmarked...let's not have anymore big blank checks handed out. Right now, we need some penny pinchers who know how to stretch a dollar.
